24mm f2.8 AIS:

new mexico church

I sold my Nikon 24mm f2.0 to be replaced with this f2.8 version. Test reveal that the optics of the slower f2.8 lens is as good as the f2.0, is lighter, cheaper, and (possibly) less prone to flare.

I use my 24mm lenses mainly for wide landscape or architectural shots, usually on a tripod. With a tripod, there is not an advantage to being able to go down to f2.0, so I don't miss that extra stop of light at all.
