This
picture of star trails up near a cabin in Angel Fire, New
Mexico. The choice in aperture for this long exposure was
arbitrary as this was my first attempt at capturing star trails.
The seclusion of the cabin along with the clear evening and
high altitude made for dark skys and great conditions. I "painted"
the trees with a flashlight in the last minute of the exposure.

trail photography at Dan
Heller's website. Nikon FE2 - Fuji Provia 100F- 50mm -
